Nothing next to a hill station stays secret. What stays quieter: early lakeside, Ayarpatta walks, a weekday Kainchi Dham, Sattal when Nainital is in cloud, Eco Cave Gardens outside school-trip hours. Tiffin Top is busier than it was; it is still calmer than Mall Road at 5 pm.
